The Grundy Transit system is a Federally and State funded public transportation system available to anyone in Grundy County. The Grundy Transit System provides both curb to curb and door to door service, dependent upon the needs of the passenger. All Grundy Transit System buses are ADA complaint and are equipped with wheelchair lifts.

REUSE/RECYCLE AND DISPOSE
The Grundy County Green Guide was developed by the Environmental and Resource Conservation Office to provide Grundy County residents with solutions to recycling and solid waste obstacles. The solutions provided in the guide focus on ways to re-use/recycle and dispose of items that should not be placed land fills due to their hazardous nature and IEPA laws. From household battery recycling to books, antifreeze and plastic grocery bags, this guide will provide you options where items can be disposed of properly. ELECTRONIC RECYCLING
Village of Diamond residents can take advantage of the free yearly e-waste recycling event. Usually held in September, residents will be notified of the date and time of the 1 day event.
Will County Green offers a FREE Electronic Drop-off Program. Diamond residents are eligible for this free program.
