FREE TIRE RECYCLING EVENT
Thursday through Saturday, July 11-13th, 2024 Olson Recycling; 354 W. Jackson Street (W. Rte. 6) Seneca, IL
8:00AM-4:00 PM Thursday-Friday; 9:00AM-Noon Saturday
The Grundy County Land Use Department is pleased to provide to Grundy County residents our annual Tire Recycling Event.
Please do the following so all may enjoy this event:
- Limited to 10 tires per vehicle
- No Agricultural, commercial or industrial tires will be accepted
- Unload tires and assist in the loading of the tires you
All tires shall be off of the rims and clean
Rubber from the tires will be recycled by K & S Tire Recycling, Inc of Chicago Heights and will be repurposed for:
*Crumb rubber for playground and synthetic turf
*Lightweight fill for road embankments
*Agricultural applications for animal mats
*Asphalt additive for road pavement
