Senator Balkema to Host I-PASS Event Event with Area Lawmakers and Illinois Tollway

In an effort to help local motorists transition from outdated plastic I-PASS transponders to the Illinois Tollway’s new sticker tags, I am partnering with my fellow lawmaker and the Illinois Tollway to host a sticker swap event in Morris.
I’m excited to work with my fellow lawmakers and the Illinois Tollway to bring this service to our community so drivers can make the switch with less hassle. By bringing this service directly to the community, we’re helping residents make a smooth transition to the new I-PASS system and get their questions answered in person.

1320 Union Street, Morris, IL
At the event, drivers can return their old transponders and receive their new I-PASS sticker tags. Attendees must bring their vehicle’s license plate number, and should be prepared for potential wait times.

Once activated, the sticker tag can be used on the Illinois Tollway and on E-Z Pass roadways in other states within 24 hours. No deposit is required for the new sticker tag, and any deposit paid on a prior transponder will transfer to the updated account.
